Certificate III in Work Health and Safety (WHS) - NSW

Across every industry, in Australia, there are natural risks and hazards associated in every workplace. A Certificate III in Work Health and Safety will equip you with the in-demand skills required by workers, managers and supervisors in a range of Work Health and Safety capacities.

To participate in this training, you will need literacy skills to the level that would be used in the workplace. For example, in many of the units, we offer you will need to be able to read and apply standard operating procedures.

This course is offered under the NSW Government Smart and Skilled program and is delivered at our Parramatta and Sydney City training centres.

The course is delivered as two (2) days per week over 8 weeks at one of iTFE’s training centres. Participants will need to undertake approximately an additional 40 - 50 hours to complete project work and workplace based coursework in addition to attendance of the course.

Participants will be mailed their BSB30715 Certificate III in Work Health and Safety qualification certificate approximately three weeks upon successful completion of all assessment tasks for the course.

The enrolment cost to complete our Certificate III in Work Health and Safety is just $250.00 to Skills for NSW Government Smart and Skilled programme eligible participants.

Without the NSW Government Smart and Skilled program funding, participants will need to pay $1,320 to enrol in our Certificate III in Work Health and Safety.

All learning resources are provided in electronic format; students must have access to the following to complete their studies:

Personal Computer, with internet access, basic computer skills in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs and an email program.

If needed, a hard copy of the learning resources can be purchased for a fee.

NSW Government Smart and Skilled programe (Eligible students)

If you're eligible for the NSW Government Smart and Skilled programe then you'll only need to pay is an enrolment fee of $250.00 to complete our Certificate III in Work Health and Safety training course. Further reductions apply for health care card holders.

If you're unfortunately not eligible for the NSW Government Smart and Skilled programe then you can still attend this course by enrolling through fee for service pricing.
